Bozeman, Marc H.

Joined the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Office of the Chief Counsel as a general trial attorney in 1971. Appointed director of the FDA Office of Compliance for the Bureau of Biologics in 1973. Rejoined the FDA Chief Counsel's office in 1975 as the Deputy Chief Counsel for Administration.

In 1976 became director of legal services for Alza Pharmaceuticals.

In 1978 founded the law firm of Geller & Bozeman, handling all aspects of FDA law. He continued his FDA practice as a sole practitioner beginning in 1987.

As of 2005 was partner with Hogan & Hartson law firm, counseling companies on clinical investigations, product submissions and approvals, promotional and marketing activities, good manufacturing practices compliance, and enforcement issues. He also counsels cosmetic and food clients, particularly those distributing dietary supplements, on all aspects of promoting and marketing those products, including product labeling. (1)
