Brady, Robert P.
Served in the U.S. Food & Drug Administration's Office of Chief Counsel from 1975, serving as associate chief counsel for biologics, associate chief counsel for foods, and associate chief counsel for enforcement, and eventually as executive assistant to the commissioner (1981-83).
General counsel and vice president of the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association (1984-?).
As of 2005 Brady was the head of the law firm Hogan & Hartson's drug and biotechnology group, where he counsels companies, individuals, and associations on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters involving the U.S. FDA and related state and federal agencies, including product development and clinical investigation; new drug and biologics license applications, product promotion and post-approval requirements, including compliance with good manufacturing practices and safety reporting; and civil and criminal enforcement issues.
