Allera, Edward J.
Served as U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Associate Chief Counsel for Enforcement (1974-78).
In the 1990s he was a partner at the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, whose clients included American Home Products, Pfizer, PhRMA, and Warner-Lambert.
As of 2005 he was managing shareholder of the Buchanan Ingersoll law firm and chairman of the firm's food and drug group, focusing on "the development of new products and business opportunities in the areas of pharmaceuticals and technology, especially regarding the regulation and promotion of drugs, biologics and devices."
