Direnfeld, Barry B.
Served as Chief Legislative Counsel to U.S. Senator Howard M. Metzenbaum (D-Ohio), and as Chief Counsel and Staff Director of the Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Antitrust, Monopolies, and Business Rights.
He was co-founder and president of New Energy Corporation of Indiana.
As of 2005 he was a managing partner in the law firm of Swidler Berlin Sherrif Friedman "representing various clients on a wide range of issues before Congress, the Executive Branch, and the independent federal agencies. He currently represents major manufacturers, investor-owned utility companies, the ethanol industry, pharmaceutical companies, and Internet companies. Mr. Direnfeld has an active practice in representing clients in congressional oversight investigations." (1)
