Avery, Dennis T.
Avery was a senior agricultural analyst for the U.S. State Department, involved in assessing the foreign policy implications of food and farming developments (1980-88).
He served as a staff member of the President's National Advisory Commission on Food and Fiber, he wrote the Commission's report Food and Fiber for the Future.
As of 2005 Avery was the director of the Hudson Institute's Center for Global Food Issues (where his son Alex Avery was director of research and education). (1)
Dennis Avery is an advisor to the American Council on Science and Health, and the author of Saving the Planet with Pesticides. and Plastic and Europe Surrenders in Biotech War. (2)
