McClellan, Roger

Has served on many advisory committees to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency including the Science Advisory Board Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee, Environmental Health Committee, Environmental Radiation Exposure Advisory Committee, Research Strategies Advisory Committee, and Relative Risk Reduction Strategies Committee.

In the late 1990s he was director of the Chemical Industry Institute of Toxicology, a "not-for-profit research organization located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina... supported principally by some 30 leading industrial firms... [with] a mission of developing... an improved scientific basis for understanding and assessing the human health risks of exposure to chemicals." (1)

As of 2004 served on the Board of Scientific Counselors of the U.S. Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry's National Center for Environmental Health. (2)
