Abramson, Stanley H.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Associate General Counsel for Pesticides and Toxic Substances (1982-88), where he was a "principal drafter" of the federal government's Coordinated Framework for Regulation of Biotechnology. (1)

As of 2005 Abramson is a partner in the Arent Fox law firm in Washington, DC, where he co-chairs the Life Sciences Group. His practice is "focused on biotechnology, food safety, and environmental law, with emphasis on product counseling and regulation. He represents clients in federal and state enforcement proceedings, defends challenges to pesticides and other chemical and biological products, develops corporate compliance and product stewardship programs, and conducts environmental audits and due diligence reviews." He is co-author of CropLife International's Compilation of Expert Papers Concerning Liability and Redress and Living Modified Organisms.
